Noa Lang Sign For Napoli in a Surprise Dream Transfer

Published on

Napoli have officially completed the signing of Dutch winger Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven in a €28 million deal, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming the agreement with his trademark “Here we go!” announcement.

Romano announced the completion on social media, stating: “Napoli are set to sign Dutch winger Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven, with the deal now in its final stages. According to Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have exchanged documents and agreed on a €28m package, including a sell-on clause.”

The Italian journalist further confirmed that “Napoli have exchanged documents with PSV for the acquisition of the Dutch winger. Agreement reached for a €28 million package with a sell-on clause plus personal agreement at €2.8 million net per season. The 26-year-old Dutch international joins Antonio Conte’s squad for a total package worth €28 million, including various add-ons and crucially, a sell-on clause that will benefit PSV Eindhoven should Napoli decide to sell Lang in the future.

Lang has agreed to personal terms worth €2.8 million net per season, showing a good salary increase from his time at PSV. The player had reportedly made it clear that “Lang only wanted Napoli as he will earn €2.8m net per season” when multiple clubs showed interest.

With the documents now exchanged between the two clubs, the final step remaining is for Lang to undergo his medical examinations with Napoli. Sources close to the deal suggest this will happen in the coming days, with an official announcement expected shortly after.

Antonio Conte’s New Weapon

The signing is a major addition for new Napoli manager Antonio Conte, who has been looking to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season. Lang’s versatility, being able to play across the front line as both a traditional winger and wide playmaker, makes him an ideal fit for Conte’s tactical system.

The Dutch international has established himself as one of Europe’s most promising wingers, known for his pace, dribbling ability, and eye for goal from wide positions.

This transfer is another important step in Lang’s career progression. The winger joined PSV Eindhoven from Club Brugge in 2023 for €12.5 million and has since developed into one of the Eredivisie’s standout performers.

His preferred right foot and jersey number 10 at PSV made him a fan favorite, and his performances caught the attention of several top European clubs before Napoli secured his signature.

Previous Interest from Napoli

Interestingly, “PSV Eindhoven star Noa Lang admits he wanted to join Napoli in January: ‘These were turbulent weeks for me.’” The player’s long-standing desire to join the Italian club has finally materialized, making this transfer even more significant for both parties.

The deal is an excellent business for PSV Eindhoven, who will receive more than double what they paid for Lang just two years ago. The inclusion of a sell-on clause ensures they will benefit from any future transfer should Lang’s value continue to rise.

For Napoli, the signing is their continued ambition to compete at the highest level, with the club investing big in quality players despite not participating in European competition this season.

With the paperwork completed and medical test scheduled, Napoli fans can expect to see Lang officially unveiled as a new player within the next few days. The winger is expected to join the squad for pre-season training as they prepare for the 2025-26 Serie A campaign under Antonio Conte.
