Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, intensifying the summer transfer saga surrounding the 23-year-old England international.
According to reports Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal discussed Noni Madueke internally this week as one of potential options and also Rodrigo of Real Madrid.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reported that the Gunners have made an approach for the right-winger, with talks now underway between the clubs. According to him, Arsenal have reportedly submitted an initial offer to Noni Madueke as they intensify their pursuit of the Chelsea winger.
Chelsea could be willing and potentially sell Madueke to Arsenal for £60 million, with the player still having five years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge. Despite this long-term deal, a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer appears to be a distinct possibility.
